Huron BAS Gospel Responses

The Huron Gospel Responses were written at the request of then Dean Terry Dance in 2007 for use at BAS modern language Eucharistic celebrations at St Paul’s Cathedral. They were subsequently adopted for use at Diocese of Huron liturgies.

Two versions are provided here:

• The original version, with choir descant and optional alternative setting of the response after the Gospel.

• A version for parish use, as requested at deanery workshops, with a simpler accompaniment and both responses set to the same music.
