CALLING ALL SINGERS

On Good Friday, March 29, St. Paul’s Cathedral is mounting a special performance of the exquisite ‘Requiem’ by Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924). 2024 is the Centennial Anniversary of his death.

The ‘core’ choir will consist of singers from the Cathedral choir and to this it is hoped that anyone who would enjoy singing this work will come forward and ‘swell the ranks’.  No audition required.  Music will be provided.

Rehearsals will be held in the sanctuary of St. Paul’s Cathedral on Thursday evenings beginning on February 8, 7.15pm - 8.00pm  Free parking is available in the lot off Queens Ave.

Please enter the Cathedral through the door off the parking lot at the east end of the Cathedral.  Do feel at liberty to invite any other singing friends to join you for this venture.

Please Note:

While you are invited to attend as many of the rehearsals as you are able,  it is hoped  that everyone taking part will be able to attend the dress rehearsal on Good Friday just prior to the 7:30 pm performance.
