As we prepare to enter the season of Lent, you are warmly invited to take part in a meaningful and prayerful tradition: the Burning of Palms.
On Sunday, February 15, 2026, immediately following the 10:00 AM service, we will gather just outside the Great West Doors on Richmond Street to offer last year’s palm crosses, which will be reverently burned and prepared as ashes for Ash Wednesday.
This simple liturgy marks the turning of the season — from celebration to repentance, from “Alleluia” to the journey of the cross — and invites us to reflect on God’s renewing work in our lives.
Please bring your palm crosses from last year, and join us as we pray together and prepare the ashes that will mark the beginning of Lent.
