Laurence Williams is the Director of Music at St. Paul's Cathedral where he gets to train the choirs and play the organ/piano in our beautiful renovated space.

He is a conductor; organist and piano accompanist; bass soloist and choral singer; and an educator sought both in Canada and internationally. He was a chorister at Westminster Abbey and went on to become organ scholar at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle before achieving a Masters in Music at Cambridge University, singing in the world renowned Trinity College Choir under Stephen Layton. He was soloist on the Gramophone award winning disc of music by Herbert Howells. He went on to study for a Masters in Voice with conducting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, achieving distinction. 

Before moving to Canada, Laurence worked with many choirs in the UK, as an accompanist and conductor. He ran his own Children's Choir, Children's Voices of Enfield and has worked with children both in the classroom and in various choir and outreach settings. He is the co-founder of Dowland Youth Works which seeks to educate teenagers in Early Lute Song ; He played London Concert Choir and Islington Choral Society, and was Music Director for 4 years of East Grinstead Choral Society, UK, doubling the size of the membership and bringing music to new audiences. He also sings in many world-renowned professional choirs, including The Monteverdi Choir, Gabrielli Consort and Polyphony.

He is passionate about introducing audiences of all ages to classical music, and believes everyone has a voice and a natural expression to sing. 

Manishya Jayasundera is an educator, conductor, singer and pianist based in Toronto. She is the Senior Choir Conductor with the Brampton Children’s Chorus and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Performance (Choral Conducting) at Western University. A certified Ontario teacher with Vocal Music and French specializations, she holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto and an ARCT in Piano Performance.

Manishya was one of the James T. Chestnutt Scholars with the Elmer Iseler Singers from 2023 to 2025 and was an Intern Conductor with the 2024 Ontario Youth Choir. In the past, she had the opportunity to work at St. Michael’s Choir School as a conducting intern and with the Exultate Chamber Singers as apprentice conductor. 

As an active singer, Manishya performs with the Exultate Chamber Singers and Babɛl Chorus. From 2023 to 2025, she sang with the Elmer Iseler Singers as part of the James T. Chestnutt Scholarship program. She has also been a member of the Ontario Youth Choir in both 2022 and 2023.
