If you can play the piano, read music, and aren’t afraid of climbing two flights of steep stairs, you already have the essential skills needed to play the bells in St. Paul’s tower.

Our set of eleven bells — spanning C4 to D5, with F-sharp and B-flat — are sounded from a traditional carillon console, where wooden levers serve as keys. Located in the first-floor tower room, the console allows ringers to send music soaring over downtown London before and after Sunday services, as well as for special weekday liturgies.

Few experiences compare to filling the city air with the sound of bells.
