At St. Paul’s, we are committed to ensuring that every person who walks through our doors is welcomed with kindness, dignity, and respect. We want individuals and families alike to feel confident that they are entering a safe and caring environment.
In accordance with the Diocese of Huron’s Safe Church Policy, all clergy and staff — as well as volunteers serving in Children & Youth Ministries — complete police screening. Many clergy, staff, and parishioners also hold current first aid certification.
Ongoing annual training is provided to address important topics such as sexual misconduct, bullying, domestic, child, and elder abuse, and mental health awareness. These sessions help foster open and honest conversation, reinforce appropriate boundaries and conduct, and equip clergy, staff, and volunteers with the tools they need to serve safely and responsibly.
Your safety and well-being are a shared commitment at St. Paul’s.
